75% Great Pyrenees / 25% Anatolian Shepherd
“Odin” (originally named “Hank” from the May 28, 2024 litter) has returned to the farm due to unforeseen circumstances at his previous home. He is currently 1 year old. He was very loved there, knows how to walk on a leash, knows basic commands “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “go to bed.” No behavioral issues that they have witnessed. He has been indoor/outdoor and is a very very sweet puppy.
After spending some time with this *GIANT* sweet boy, we have determined he would fit best as a property guardian at a home with a large yard.
He is perfect with children, he just loves them. However when it comes to small or flighty animals he has a strong prey drive and therefore would not do well as a livestock guardian - due to no fault of his own - he was raised for his first year as a family dog and he does his job well.
He’s loyal as can be and understands his role to guard - which includes barking to keep predators at bay.
If you look at our pinned posts you will see the absolute immaculate genetic testing performed on the 2025 litter should line up with all litters as they all share the same DNA.
If you were hoping to get one of Zeus and Lady’s puppies and thought you may be out of luck, after we had her spayed, please reach out. We will be working on reacclimating Odin to farm life and training him on LGD duties. We will be selective about where he goes as no dog should have to move around homes several times, if we find an appropriate placement we want to ensure it’s permanence.
If you are looking for a home and yard guardian who is loyal to a fault - this is your guy.
Please spread the word, he will live here with us until we find an appropriate fit, however he would do best where he has his own space!
*We are not seeking a rehoming fee*
All of our puppies from our third and final litter of Zeus & Lady puppies that arrived on January 5, 2025 have found their homes!
Our 50/50 Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Sire, Zeus, and our Great Pyrenees Dam, Lady, have conceived two litters of LGD puppies, one in 2023, and one in 2024. All of the puppies have found wonderful new homes and farms. With each litter all of the puppies will be exposed to dogs, cats, chickens and cattle as well as small children. Their parents are responsible for guarding our home and chickens/guineas/ducks.
*Please note: Even with exposure and training through week 8, the puppies will need consistent reinforcement to adhere to their potential.*
Each puppy is $300 - comes vet checked at 8 weeks, includes a puppy health record log and will be to date on all vaccines and worming.
***We offer a health guarantee as well as a forever home guarantee - if for any reason you can no longer take care of your puppy please let us know and we will take him back with loving arms.***
***Each puppy is available for On-site Pickup, Local delivery within 50 miles for a fee or shipping - however it is the buyers responsibility to find, coordinate pickup & delivery as well as pay for the shipper. ***

*Murphy Found his Wonderful Forever Home at a farm in Pinnacle, NC*
We also have one remaining male from the June 12, 2023 litter who, do to unfortunate circumstances on the part of the owner (not his fault), was returned to us and is seeking his forever home.
Murphy is the sweetest, most loving and sensitive of all the dogs we have had. He has an innate guarding ability and is making up for time he spent in suburban life while growing accustomed to guarding our chickens and familiarizing himself with the cattle. He has proven to be very gentle and protective over our three small children, he has stood in front of them with his back to them in guarding form when he has identified a threat. He is very gentle and gives lots of kisses. Because of his previous life in a suburban area he would do well in a home with a fenced yard, or with some work I do believe he has the potential to do well as a livestock guardian as well.
